In further reference to the letter from the

Department of August the 9th last, the Committee have pleasure in recommending Hiss E.A.Girling to the

Secretary of State as a suitable candidate for the

present vacancy in the Hong Kong Civil Hospital, in

succession to Miss Park.

I beg to enclose herewith Miss Girling's

application form and papers, and to say that she will be prepared to leave England in the end of

September.
